The Akron, Canton & Youngstown Railway Company ran east and west in Northern Ohio. As such, it connected with the Nickel Plate on the west end at both Bluffton and Delphos, Ohio, and on the east end, had connections with the Wheeling & Lake Erie that gave the NKP access to the lucrative Akron markets.
This 128-page book written by Robert E. Lewis and the AC&Y Historical Society outlines the history of both the AC&Y and the AB&B and sheds light on the importance of this railroad to the greater Nickel Plate system. The book is complete with maps, drawings, charts and many full-color photographs. The hardback book is published by Morning Sun Books.
